ASSOCIATE

ALLISON SMITH joined Moffett, Sims, Gauthier & Willoughby, PC in May 2024 and has spent her career defending national insurance carriers and their insureds. She most recently spent nine years working as house counsel for a global insurance carrier, where she handled first and third party automobile negligence claims, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, commercial claims and assisted with in-depth SIU investigations. Allison also has experience defending a national rideshare company, and excelled at defending the company against baseless automobile negligence claims. She obtained over 50 dismissals for her rideshare client in the span of 18 months.  She has extensive experience handling all aspects of the litigation process, and has successfully argued numerous motions for summary disposition. Allison has first chaired several trials to completion, the majority of which resulted in a no-cause of action for her clients.

Allison prides herself in having a strong reputation within the legal community. She is a zealous advocate and is committed to representing her clients in an efficient yet effective manner.

Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, traveling, spending time with friends, cooking and reading.
