George David is of counsel to Moffett, Sims, Gauthier & Willoughby. His experience has included defending individuals involved in auto accidents, first party no-fault automobile insurance companies, product liability, premises liability and general negligence defense. Mr. David successfully appealed a circuit court decision to the Michigan Court of Appeals in the case of Grier v DAIIE, 106 Mich App 687; 408 NW2d 429 (1987). He has handled matters throughout the State of Michigan, is actively involved in the representation of major manufacturers of household products and has traveled extensively in that capacity, being admitted pro hac vice in numerous courts throughout the United States, both state and federal, for that purpose.

Mr. David received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University in 1975 and graduated from the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law) in 1979. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and has remained a member in good standing since 1979. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Mr. David enjoys an “AV” rating form Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Macomb County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and is licensed by the State of Michigan in real estate sales.
