John Meads joined the firm in January 2024. Having started his professional legal career working as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, primarily handling third-party auto-negligence and first-party No-Fault claims, Mr. Meads brings with him a unique perspective and a multifaceted understanding of Michigan’s No-Fault law, as well as general liability matters, which he has been able to utilize and apply toward the zealous representation and defense of his clients since switching sides to insurance defense. At Moffett, Sims, Gauthier & Willoughby, PC, Mr. Meads’ practice covers a diverse practice area on behalf of insurance carriers, insureds, and self-insured corporations, including claims and cases involving first-party PIP, first party Uninsured- and Underinsured-Motorist benefits, third-party auto negligence, premises liability, general negligence dog-bite claims, and asbestos litigation, as well as a wide variety of commercial-litigation cases, which include property damage, property disputes, environmental damage, construction litigation, and business litigation.
