Jordan Fields, an experienced litigator, negotiator, and trial attorney. As a Senior Associate at Moffett, Sims, Gauthier & Willoughby, PC, Mr. Fields handles matters involving medical malpractice defense, trucking defense, premises liability, general liability, as well as a growing commercial litigation and corporate business practice. He has successfully defended professional liability claims against hospitals and medical care providers from claims of professional or medical negligence involving many areas of malpractice.  In addition, Mr. Fields has also successfully defended trucking companies and insurance carriers in liability claims involving trucking accidents. Prior to Mr. Fields civil litigation practice, he was formally with the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office assigned to the 16th Judicial Circuit Court – General Division where he successfully tried dozens of jury trials ranging from low level drug crimes to homicide. During his time with the MCPO he was also elected by his peers to serve as Steward of the Prosecutor’s Union to defend employees in disciplinary hearings.

Mr. Fields is a member of numerous organizations in his profession, including the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC), and Chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Medical/Legal Committee. 

​Mr. Fields received his J.D., cum laude, from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2013 and earned a B.B.A from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2007.  Mr. Fields served as a teaching assistant for two (2) semesters in Criminal Procedure under the Assistant Dean at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was also a team member of the National Mock Trial Team four (4) times competing around the country and winning multiple inter-school competitions.

Mr. Fields is also involved in the community where he has run multiple marathons while fundraising for Leukemia Lymphoma Society and coaches his children’s youth sports
